ScreenThreat ("we", "us", "our") operates the ScreenThreat screen time accountability service at screenthreat.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

During onboarding you may provide the following information:

• Name and mobile phone number (required)
• Age, gender, sexual orientation, religion
• Occupation and relationship status
• Height, weight, housing situation
• Personal anxieties and concerns
• Details of nominated contacts (Premium plan only)

We also collect payment information via Stripe (we do not store card details directly) and basic usage data.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your personal data is used solely to:

• Generate and send personalised SMS alerts as part of the ScreenThreat service
• Process your subscription payment
• Improve the quality of AI-generated messages over time

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Sensitive Data

Some information you provide (religion, sexual orientation, health-related data) is considered sensitive under UK GDPR. You provide this data voluntarily and explicitly for the purpose of receiving personalised messages. By submitting it, you consent to us processing it for that purpose only.

5. Third Parties

We use the following third-party services to operate ScreenThreat:

• Supabase — secure database storage
• Telnyx — SMS delivery
• Stripe — payment processing
• Anthropic — AI message generation
• Netlify — hosting

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data processing agreements in place.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, you may request deletion of your data by contacting us. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk)

8. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage and secure API connections. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via SMS or email.
